3D Realms is Back, Celebrate their Lineage with the 3D Realms Anthology

3D Realms shut its doors five years ago, an ignoble ending for the developer who had existed since 1987.

But now they’ve reformed, returning with full force. Original team members such as Scott Miller and Bryan Turner are join by new hires like CEO Mike Nielsen and vice president Frederik Schreiber. The first item on their (probably massive) list of tasks? Relaunch all of the existing IPs in the 3D Realms Anthology.

Featured above, you can watch the trailer for the new bundle, which features 32 games from their catalog of work, spanning through the entirety of their history. Loads of classics are in there—Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, Wolfenstein 3D—and are DRM-free, offer (partial) controller support, and have a fully re-orchestrated soundtrack by Interceptor Entertainment’s Andrew Hulshult.
