Nintendo has confirmed the latest numbers for Tomodachi Life, their completely weird 3DS simulator.

The game has shippd over 1.24 million copies in both the U.S. and Europe, news that was confirmed in the company’s latest earnings report. If you add that to the game’s total shipped units in Japan, this means Tomodachi Life has theoretically sold over 3.12 million copies. Still—these are shipped number we’re talking about, but I digress.

Tomodachi Life appeared to be a game that was perhaps too odd for some people, and yet Nintendo ran with it for the entirety of its promotion.
